Working with young people and adults who identify or are exploring the possibility of having ADHD, autism or a combination of these.

You may have a formal diagnosis, be self identified. newly diagnosed or be curious and exploring this for the first time.

Tailored, practical support

This may include :

  • reducing anxiety, stress and mental overload
  • improving focus, motivation and follow through
  • developing routines that feel manageable and sustainable
  • understanding and reducing burnout, shut down or fatigue
  • supporting the resolution of past experiences, where relevant

If you are living with ADHD, Autism or both you may feel mentally overloaded, stuck or constantly trying to keep up.

You might know what you want to do, but find it difficult to follow through. Or feel exhausted from managing everything internally while appearing to cope on the outside.

Over time, this can lead to anxiety, burnout and a growing sense of frustration or self doubt.

This is certainly not a lack of ability or a personal flaw as we so often feel and interpret it, but a sign that your system is under strain or out of balance. A sign that our emotional needs are not being met or our resources not being used appropriately.

I offer a calm, practical approach to help you understand what is happening and find ways of working with your unique brain rather than against it to build a life that works well for you.

When things feel overwhelming, there is a calmer, more manageable way forward.

Practical, focused support that  creates real change.

My approach is grounded in the Human Givens model, which looks at how well your core emotional needs are being met. This includes the need for security, control, connection and meaning. When they are out of balance, it can lead to ongoing stress, anxiety and exhaustion.

For many neurodivergent people, this can be further affected by long term pressure, masking, or earlier experiences that have not been fully processed.

Human Givens therapy includes gentle, effective ways of relieving the impact of distressing experiences, without the need to revisit them in detail.

Together we look at:

  • What is currently maintaining the difficulty
  • Which needs may not be fully met
  • What resources you already have available
  • What practical steps will help restore balance

For ADHD this often involves working with attention, motivation and overwhelm in a way that fits your natural rhythms.

For autism it may involve reducing overload, understanding patterns such as shutdown or burnout, and creating conditions that feel more manageable and predictable. The focus is always on helping you feel calmer, clearer and more able to cope.

Calm, experienced and grounded support

People come to work with me because they are looking for a clear, practical way forward.

Many have tried other approaches and still feel stuck or overwhelmed. What they are seeking is a better understanding of what actually helps.

As someone who is ADHD and autistic myself, diagnosed later in life, I bring both professional training and lived experience.

This allows me to recognise patterns that are often missed and to work in a way that feels realistic, respectful and effective.

Clients value:

  • a calm, non judgemental space
  • clear, practical guidance

ADHD Coaching and Therapy FAQs

What is ADHD?

ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) is a neurodevelopmental condition that can affect attention, organisation, emotional regulation, motivation, time management, and daily functioning.

It presents differently in different people and is not simply about being distracted or hyperactive.

How do I know if I might have ADHD?

Common signs include difficulty focusing, forgetfulness, procrastination, overwhelm, emotional sensitivity, chronic lateness, difficulty completing tasks, and feeling as though you’re constantly working harder than others to stay organised.

Do you provide ADHD assessments or diagnoses?

“I do not provide formal ADHD assessments or diagnoses, but I can help you explore whether ADHD may be impacting your life and support you through the assessment process if appropriate.”

In the UK only a psychiatrist can  formally diagnose ADHD.

Can I work with you if I am waiting for an ADHD assessment?

Absolutely. Many people seek support while waiting for assessment or diagnosis. Therapy and/or coaching can help with coping strategies, self-understanding, confidence, anxiety, and daily challenges.

Do I need a diagnosis to benefit from ADHD therapy or coaching?

No. Whether you have a diagnosis, suspect you may have ADHD, or simply identify with ADHD-related challenges, therapy can still be beneficial.

How can coaching and therapy help with ADHD?

Coaching and Therapy can help you:

  • Understand your ADHD brain
  • Reduce shame and self-criticism
  • Improve emotional regulation
  • Develop practical strategies
  • Manage overwhelm and burnout
  • Strengthen self-esteem
  • Navigate relationships and work challenges

Do you work with adults who were diagnosed later in life?

Yes. Many adults( as I myself did) receive a diagnosis in their 30s, 40s, 50s, or later.

Therapy can help process the emotional impact of a late diagnosis and develop a new understanding of yourself.

Can therapy and coaching help with ADHD-related anxiety and low self-esteem?

Yes. Many people with ADHD experience anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, imposter syndrome, or low confidence.

These can be important areas of therapeutic work.

What if I struggle with motivation and procrastination?

Together we can explore what’s getting in the way, including overwhelm, perfectionism, executive functioning difficulties, fear of failure, and emotional blocks.

Do you support ADHD burnout?

Yes. ADHD burnout is common and can leave people feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, and disconnected from themselves. Therapy and coaching can help you recognise the signs and create a more sustainable way of living.

Do you work with women and girls and ADHD?

Yes. ADHD often presents differently in women and girls and can be overlooked or misunderstood.

Many women are diagnosed later in life after years of masking their difficulties. This was my experience.

Can ADHD affect relationships?

Yes. ADHD can impact communication, emotional regulation, household responsibilities, intimacy, and conflict.

Coaching and therapy can help you better understand these challenges and develop healthier patterns.

What approach do you take when working with ADHD clients?

This is a good place to describe your style, for example: “My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and neurodiversity-affirming.  I help you understand how your brain works and develop strategies that work with who you are.”

Are sessions online or in person?

You’ll receive a warm welcome at my private practice in north London or we can work together online, on Zoom or FaceTime if preferred.
