Meet Christina
I first came across the human givens approach as I searched for help to overcome complex trauma and the depression and anxiety that resulted from this trauma. view qualificationsI had tried to get help for so long, but it was the human givens approach that finally gave me back my piece of mind and the ability to truly move on with my life.
After working with a variety of therapeutic approaches and attending many different trainings over the years, I’ve found the human givens approach to supporting mental health and wellbeing to have the most impact.
I’ve since made it my life’s mission to help other people using the same transformational approach.
I’m passionate about working with you to help you to regain control and deepen your understanding of how you can support your own journey to physical and mental wellbeing.
My experience
I’m a qualified, full-time human givens psychotherapist and have enjoyed working in the social care sector for over 30 years.
Having gained my BSC in Psychology and Master’s in Health Psychology, I’ve spent my entire career working in a number of social care settings, including the prison service, community mental health teams, GP surgeries, the probation service, supported housing and the charity sector, as well as schools and pupil referral units.
I’m also co-author of several research papers into community mental health provision, following my time at the Institute of Psychiatry, where I worked as a research psychologist.
